Are You Ready to Try Something New?
I'm here to treat YOU - not just your cancer. My job is to have you biochemically primed in order to optimize your oncologist's treatment protocol and to enhance the quality of your life during your experience with cancer. The use of the right integrative cancer therapy can safely and effectively decrease the side effects of conventional treatments, including pain, nausea, brain fog, and fatigue, and improve your chances of receiving your full treatment by mitigating common adverse reactions to chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, and hormonal treatments.
I am a strong advocate for conventional cancer treatments, but I recognize that sometimes it is not an option. That's why I follow the best available evidence and research to formulate a plan unique to you.
If you have been diagnosed with a precancerous condition, if you have a strong family history of cancer, or if you are a cancer survivor, you probably have a lot of questions. We'll look into your most prominent risk factors and determine a plan of action to improve your chances of cancer evasion. If you're a cancer survivor we'll work together to get you back on track so that you can experience every day with clarity and energy.

What to Expect at Your First Visit
Your initial consult is 75 minutes. Within the visit, you will have the opportunity to outline your health concerns and goals. Dr Bernard will review many aspects of your health (including any blood work or scans that you've had) and relevant physical exams and testing will be performed. Depending on your concern, you will leave with recommendations regarding sleep, nutrition, exercise, and digestion. After checking for interactions between natural supplements and medications and receiving all test results, an initial treatment plan will be provided, which will include a general timeline and checkpoints to meet and measure along the way.
In your second visit (often available the next day, in-person or by phone), you will be presented with your personalized and researched treatment plan for your review. Multiple visits are required for optimal results.
How to Prepare
Please fill out the intake form before the day of your visit and bring/submit any blood work, scans, and/or pathology reports relevant to your concern.
It is very important that Dr Bernard has a list of your previous and/or current treatment plan, including all medications. Without these, your naturopathic treatment plan may be delayed.
